Carolyn "Carebear" Miller is a remarkable philanthropist, entrepreneur, and advocate for holistic health and wellness. As the Chairman, Founder, and CEO of GoodVibesWorldWide Network and Sage Sanctuaries 509(a)2, Carolyn has dedicated her life to creating spaces that promote physical, mental, and spiritual well-being for individuals and communities.
Born in 1980 in San Diego, California, Carolyn is a first-generation Colombian American. She grew up in a family deeply involved in the wellness industry, with her parents owning "California Health & Spas." This early exposure instilled in her a passion for health and wellness, which she pursued through martial arts, earning a black belt in Shito-Ryu and Ryuei-Ryu Okinawan Karate by the age of 13.
Her journey was not without challenges. As a young mother, Carolyn faced the struggles of single motherhood while balancing her education and work. After working in retail and returning to help her family's wellness center, she experienced personal tragedy when her first husband passed away. This loss, combined with her subsequent abusive relationships, tested her resilience.
Despite these adversities, Carolyn found strength through her work and community involvement. She created GoodVibesPool, organizing tournaments to support families in need and veterans. After enduring traumatic experiences, including an abusive relationship that nearly cost her life, Carolyn sought help from a life coach, which reignited her entrepreneurial spirit and led to the establishment of GoodVibesWorldWide Network.
In 2022, Carolyn met Bernie Miller, whose vision for a wellness center aligned with hers. Together, they merged their dreams, resulting in the growth of their business and a significant community impact. They launched various programs, including holistic health initiatives, outdoor activities, and wellness facilities aimed at supporting community well-being.
Carolyn Miller, affectionately known as Carebear, embodies the spirit of resilience and the transformative power of wellness. Her journey illustrates the importance of healing, community, and the commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of others. Through her efforts, Carolyn continues to inspire those around her to pursue their wellness journeys and foster a supportive community environment.

Birth and Family Background
Born on November 26, 1960, in Cleveland, Ohio, Bernie Miller is the son of Elwood Bernard Miller Sr., a mechanical engineer at Union Carbide, and Jean Palmer, a dedicated teacher and educator.
Early Life
Bernie's formative years were spent in a farmhouse near Bennington, Vermont, where he learned the value of self-sufficiency through gardening and living off the land. Although there were no farm animals, local hunters occasionally provided deer for butchering. Winters were harsh, introducing him to snow skiing at a young age. In the summer of 1968, his family relocated to Asheboro, North Carolina, due to Union Carbide's expansion needs.
At just nine years old, Bernie began delivering the Greensboro Daily News, a job he maintained through college, eventually passing it on to his father. By his senior year of high school (1977-78), he juggled multiple roles, including school bus driver and dishwasher, while excelling in four varsity sports: baseball, football, wrestling, and track and field (pole vaulting). He also discovered a passion for flying, starting his lessons at age 15, and later played baseball while earning a BA in Sociology from High Point College in 1982.
Career Journey
After college, Bernie faced challenges in finding employment due to a lack of experience. In 1983, he moved to San Diego, California, seeking better opportunities. His first job was as a fitness trainer at Jack LaLanne’s European Health Spa, but low wages prompted him to explore other avenues in fitness. Over the years, he worked various jobs, including aerobics instructor, waiter, bartender, delivery driver, model, actor, stuntman, and construction worker.
In 1991, a friend's suggestion led Bernie to audition for "American Gladiators," where he triumphed in the live tour in San Diego out of 1,100 competitors and became a semi-finalist on the show that summer. This experience connected him with Michael Petruccelli, who would later sponsor his fitness equipment business.
Entrepreneurship and Inventions
In 1994, Bernie established his own fitness training business, which flourished for 15 years. His first significant invention, "The 15 Minute Total Body Workout" video, released in 1997, showcased a training theory emphasizing efficient workouts for maintaining lean muscle and metabolism. This caught the attention of his mentor, Jack LaLanne, who invited him to his home in 1999.
In 2000, he introduced the "Total Body Workout Bench," a unique folding workout bench. However, without patent protection, the design was quickly replicated in the market.
In 2005, Bernie patented the RockBack "Polevault pole case," designed for storing and transporting pole vault poles, reflecting his passion for the sport. The following year, he created "The Spooner," a balance board for core training, which took several years to reach mainstream success, eventually appearing on "Shark Tank" in 2016.
In 2015, he designed the "SquatMaster," an exercise machine that ensures proper squat form, which he had originally conceptualized in 2003. That same year, he acquired land in Jamul, CA, with plans to establish a wellness center that would support community initiatives.
Bernie's guiding philosophy, the NEXT STEP theory, encourages focusing on immediate tasks rather than becoming overwhelmed by larger goals, a testament to his resilience and entrepreneurial spirit.

With over 25 years of diverse experience in TV production, website creation, online sales, marketing, and SEO, Eric Ducharme has established himself as a multifaceted professional in the entertainment and sports industries. His expertise spans hard goods, sourcing, and distribution, showcasing a strong foundation in both creative and business aspects.
Career Highlights
Eric is known for his significant contributions to live event creation and management, particularly in action sports marketing. His roles have included sports agent and manager, as well as leading marketing tours and business development efforts. As the founder of Planet X TV and creator of Xtreme Circus, he has played a pivotal role in shaping content and experiences within the action sports community.
Additionally, Eric is the owner of Future Sports at the Irvine Spectrum and the Future Sports New Product Pavilion touring bus, further demonstrating his commitment to innovation in sports marketing and event management. His passion for gadgets has led him to become a personality on numerous shows, and he has written extensively about gadgetry for publications like Popular Science and Popular Mechanics, focusing on recreation technology and green tech/EV for over a decade.
Disc Golf Journey
Eric's love for throwing Frisbees began in his youth, accumulating countless hours of practice on beaches and in backyards. In 2006, while living in College Park, Maryland, he was introduced to disc golf, leading to competitive participation. He founded DRYVE DISC GOLF in 2017, which has since developed over 30 products and accessories for the sport.
Having competed in over 270 PDGA-sanctioned tournaments across the USA and Mexico, Eric currently ranks #20 in the world for the MA50 (Mixed Amateur 50+) division. His dedication to the sport is further demonstrated by his extensive experience playing over 500 courses nationwide. Recently, he designed and built Good Vibes Ranch DGC, with aspirations to transform it into a premier disc golf destination resort, hosting numerous events throughout the year.
Upcoming events at Good Vibes Ranch include the "Weekend at Bernies" and "DRYVE - Down the Mountain" PDGA-sanctioned tournaments, as well as the 2025 Charity ICE Bowl (fourth annual) benefiting the San Diego Food Bank. Eric plans to enhance the facility with new tee signs, baskets, holes, and pin locations, ensuring a top-tier experience for disc golf enthusiasts.

Bryan J. Baird Biography
I was born in Cherokee North Carolina on the Cherokee reservation. An easy way to state my core values is North Carolinas state moto “Esse Quam Videri” To be rather than to seem. I strongly believe that individuality should be encouraged, as well as its imperative that people be genuine.
• After high school I joined the United States Marine Corp. Serving in the Marines firs expeditionary force. In operation desert storm as well as the Bosnian conflict. Where I was injured and now am an injured veteran.
• I then began work as a lineman for Gulf Power in the south, during which time I attained my ministers license through the universal life church.
• The license being due to the fact that I am native as well as the ostracization of people due to their life or sexuality choices. It is my true belief that there are numerous means of worship, hinging on the core of treatment of others, as well as that through strong spirit anything is surmountable and possible and has hope.
• Having that tested seven years ago I had a shoulder and rotator cuff injury, forcing me to re-evaluate my retirement and ability to be productive.
• I have now put myself through medical courses and degrees. I now tutor mathematics, biology, chemistry, microbiology, anatomy and physiology.
• I am a licensed respiratory therapist, I worked ICU, ER and trauma during COVID
• I am now working on my cardio vascular technician license, so that I can work in the cardiac surgery department.
That all said, it feels really odd to blow my horn on here. All souls, all facets are important. There are those that play native flute that I’m jealous of. There are wonderful people that know yoga which works for so many. There are different souls that have a way of talking to people that works, that doesn’t work for me. There own way of ministering if you will.
It is only that I hope, that my experience as a Native, a Marine, a minister, and someone that has struggled. To help shed light into someone’s dark. Help heal the damage to a soul that feeling alone causes. Then eventually help them live remembering that “These ARE the good old days” that today is the youngest we will ever be. Maybe even for those seeking it, that alone in a field they are never alone.

About Sean Fitz
Sean Fitz is a well established musician, playing piano his whole life, and dedicating his life to bringing conscious & healing art to the world.
Recorded & released multiple albums as a solo artist, co-writer, producer, instrumentalist, and always facilitating events/performing across the planet.
From his early beginnings to his latest work, Sean Fitz's music has touched many hearts, souls, and spirits.
A veteran performer & producer, he has been mentored by some of the worlds' masters, collaborated with many masters, and has always stayed open to learning & exploring more throughout all the arts.
Originally from Chicago, Sean toured around the tri-state area performing keys, as well as ran sound and engineered many local venues & theaters. DJ'd
many block parties, installed and designed many sound & electric systems, provided music lessons, and provided graphic services for
local clients.
He now does all of this and more in Los Angeles and San Diego with and in collaboration with his long standing and re-named / re-branded art company-
TWT Studios.
